These terms are between you and Seghedi Robert-Mihai PFA (“South”, “we”), 136 Bucureștii Noi Boulevard, Ground Floor, Apt. 5, District 1, Bucharest, Romania, Trade Register no. F2023004299405, EUID ROONRC.F2023004299405, tax ID (CUI) 48295402, contact hello@south.email. We make South and grant the license to use it. By installing or buying South you agree to these terms.

Buying South

Our Merchant of Record is Sold through Link, LLC (“Link”), 354 Oyster Point Boulevard, South San Francisco, California 94080, United States, EU OSS VAT EU440000220, Stripe's Merchant of Record service. That means Link, not us, sells South to you: it takes the payment, charges and pays the VAT or sales tax that applies where you live, emails your receipt and invoice, and helps with payment questions at support.link.com. You can see your orders and manage your subscription at link.com or from your account. We're responsible for South itself: the app, your license and support for the product.

Your license

• Each license covers one Mac. You can buy licenses for more Macs at the same time or later; every Mac after the first costs less, at the price shown for it. You can move a license to another Mac by freeing it on the old one.
• Monthly and yearly licenses renew automatically until you cancel, which you can do any time from your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• Lifetime is a perpetual license for South 1.x and 2.x and every update to those versions, for each Mac it was bought for. If a paid South 3 ever exists, Lifetime owners get it free. Features that would need servers we operate are not included, and nothing available on the day you buy will later move behind an extra payment.
• The free trial lasts seven days, and each Mac gets one, whichever way you start it: in South or with a subscription. A subscription bought for a Mac that already had its free week starts billing right away. If it ends without a purchase, South keeps your downloaded mail readable and searchable; syncing, opening messages and sending pause.

Fair use

Please don't resell, share or crack license keys. You may not use South to send spam or to break the law.

Your mail and your providers

South connects to the mail and AI providers you choose. Their terms apply to your use of their services, and we aren't responsible for their availability.

Warranty and liability

We work hard to keep South reliable, but it's provided as is. Keep backups of mail that matters; your mail provider usually keeps the original copy. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid for South in the last twelve months. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms, we'll say so on this page and, for material changes, by email at least 30 days before. These terms are governed by Romanian law, without taking away the protection of the consumer law where you live. Questions: hello@south.email.

Disputes

Write to us first; most things are solved in one email. If you're a consumer in the EU, you can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform, or contact the Romanian consumer protection authority, ANPC. For anything about a payment, write to us; we'll sort it out ourselves.
